Carmen Wolf to Chair WI HFMA Compliance Committee

Milwaukee, WI (June 16, 2005)—BlickenWolf LLC, is pleased to announce Principal Carmen Wolf became the Compliance Committee Chair for the Wisconsin Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA) beginning June 1, 2005. The WI HFMA Compliance Committee reviews proposals, analyzes regulations, defines problems and provides education on compliance and other regulatory issues. Wolf will also chair the Chapter’s 2006 Annual Meeting Program Committee.

HFMA is the nation’s leading membership organization for more than 34,000 healthcare financial management professionals and provides information on key issues affecting healthcare financial managers, resources, professional development, and networking opportunities to ensure organizational success.

Wolf has extensive experience conducting and managing a broad range of healthcare investigations as well as providing fraud awareness and prevention methods to clients. She specializes in assisting providers with risk assessments as part of the overall development and implementation of corporate compliance programs and has consistently helped clients identify underlying operational issues that lead to non-compliance and has assisted clients with retooling processes to ensure future compliance. Wolf has done extensive work related to Corporate Integrity Agreements including annual compliance, billing and/or systems reviews and mandatory training. Prior to co-founding BlickenWolf LLC, Wolf was a Senior Manager for Deloitte & Touche. She is also a registered nurse and former manager of the Milwaukee Heart Institute.
