of Inspector General (OIG) and State Medicaid Fraud Control Units
and assist counsel from pre-trial phases of an investigation through

We also conduct internal corporate investigations when a client faces law enforcement intervention and/or is accused of, or exposed to, potential healthcare fraud. An internal investigation is the first step in our analysis of any inappropriate activity. When clients face compliance obligations as a result of a settlement involving a governmental healthcare program investigation, BlickenWolf acts as an Independent Review Organization (IRO). In this role, we help healthcare organizations meet the requirements of the Office of the Inspector General (OIG) corporate integrity agreement obligations.

Healthcare forensics is an evolving investigative science and is used in highly unique ways in the healthcare industry. We use this evolving science to investigate the cause of errors, determine the applicable time frame, and estimate risks.
